Dr. Pia T. Tucker
Dr. Pia T. Tucker received her Master's degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from U.C. Davis. She became a diplomat of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 1995, and she was the recipient of the 1998 Don Low Practitioner Fellowship in Internal Medicine at U.C. Davis. Dr. Tucker has served as consultant to the Veterinary Medical Board and the California state Board Exam Committee, and has provided spay and neuter services to the Sacramento SPCA as part of their outreach to control pet overpopulation. Dr. Tucker assumed ownership of Animal Care Clinic of Woodland from Dr. Bruga in 2003.
Dr. Andrew Clifton
Dr. Andrew Clifton graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After graduating, he completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery, followed by a one year internship at the Birmingham Zoo in Alabama. After returning to California, Dr. Clifton spent the next 4 years working part time at the Oakland Zoo and part time at several small animal hospitals in Sacramento. He has been working at the Animal Care Clinic of Woodland since 2008 where most of his time is devoted to canine and feline general medicine and surgery. He still has an interest in small exotic pets including rabbits, rodents, reptiles and birds.
